Hitman

How to Play

With an assassination theme on hand, based on the video game of the same name, Hitman slots are not for the weak of heart. But if you’re up for some killer entertainment, then this lethal game with 5-reels and 15-paylines, may be the ultimate choice for you.

How to play is simple. Along the bottom of the screen, you’ll find a few straightforward commands. Starting from left to right there is:

• The red bubble – Click the + or – sign beneath the red bubble, to set your coin value.
• Line window– This is where you set the number of paylines you’d like to activate on the spin.
• Coins – This is where you choose the number of coins you’d like to bet per line.

• Bet Max – Click this button to automatically set your bet at the maximum amount allowed, i.e. all 15 paylines at a rate of 20 coins each.
• Spin – When you are ready, click this virtual button to get the reels rolling.

Other important basics to remember are the functions that certain symbols serve, with the Hitman himself (aka Agent 47) acting as the wild symbol, and the “18” (yes a bit odd, we know) taking the role of the game’s scatter symbol.

The Game Experience

When it comes to graphics, dark and dangerous is the look you’ll get here. The reel play takes place against a black screen, which serves to illuminate the action unfolding on the main screen. There’s some gun action, explosions, and smoke – but none of it distracts from the main point – the thrilling wins!

If you’re familiar with the Hitman video game or film, then you already pretty much know what’s in store. In addition to the fatal assassin, Agent 47, you’ll be exposed to some rather lethal weaponry along the reels in the form of his top tools of the trade including handguns, a knife, sniper rifle, poison syringe and even a rather grim wire contraption (for strangling people of course). Again, as we already warned, this game is NOT for the faint of heart!

While it’s not obvious that any other Microgaming online slots quite match the gruesomeness of this game’s theme, it’s fair to say that in terms of style, it’s a top-contender, equal in appeal to the big-time blockbusters Thunderstruck II and Immortal Romance.

Technology

Hitman slots hit the market in 2007. A decade (plus) is a long time by any standards, and certainly for an online casino game to maintain its superiority. But with the ageless theme of intrigue and murder, as well as the superior software of Microgaming technology, it’s been able to successfully stand the test of time.

As for format, for your convenience, this game can be played across all platforms – that is in download, instant Flash, and mobile play. Not all casinos will offer all three, but all three can certainly be found.

Jackpot

The largest jackpot you can win playing Hitman slots is a payout of 270,000 coins, and this is only achievable through the Contract Bonus round play. The other big payoff of 6,000 coins can be won when the Insignia Bonus feature has been activated (more on both below). Frequent players have noted that this game has a rather high variance level, which means you’ll need to be rather patient if you want to hit one of the bigger wins.

Special Features

There are a couple of special features and bonus rounds available in this game.

• The Contract Bonus – This bonus round is triggered when you land three laptops along the third, fourth, and fifth reels. Once in, you’ll need to select 1 of 5 targets and 1 of 5 weapons. With the most lethal (in this case best) selection, you can win the game’s max payout of up to 270,000 coins.

• The Insignia Bonus – This one’s triggered by 3 Hitman logos on the first, second, and third reels. With just one chance in-hand, make your choice wisely, and win up to 6,000 coins.

• Expanding wild – When Agent 47 graces the second, third, and fourth reels, you’re in luck as the man makes himself even more useful – truly expanding his presence and effect!

• 18 free spins – Get at least 3 “18” symbols anywhere on the reels, and you’ll get 18 free spins with a 2X multiplier.

Conclusion

If sinister is your thing, then this game is for you. The Hitman online slot machine builds on the legendary endeavours of Agent 47 of video game fame, to bring killer action to your computer screen and the potential for some pretty big payoffs.
