Avalon II

How to Play

The paylines and reels here are fixed at 5 reels and 243 ways to win: So the change will depend on what coins you choose and how many. They range from 1.5 to 7.5, so you can choose between 0.30 for a min bet and 7.50 for a max per spin. You can spin each time manually, or even set up the Autoplay feature, where you choose a custom amount of spins to roll automatically.

The base game here is pretty simple, and any three symbols will trigger a win. There are three wilds, as well as a scatter.

• Avalon II symbol: This is the traditional wild, and can be substituted for all non-special symbols.
• Lady of the Lake symbol: This is an expanding wild, which will grow to fill all other reels, triggering more wins.
• Merlin symbol: This one is a random wild, usually triggered on a no wins spin. He can award a random prize to the player. If he happens to appear on a winning spin, this will be multiplied too.
• Grail Symbol: This is the elusive scatter symbol, and it will pay out as long as there is more than one in sight. It also triggers the bonus games when there are three or more symbols.

The Game Experience

The theme of this game is similar to the first Avalon game: A medieval quest to help the famous King Arthur. As the player, you are on a search for the Holy Grail itself. The symbols include:

• King Arthur
• Merlin
• Guinevere
• Morgan
• Black Knight
• Avalon II logo
• Lady of the Lake
• Holy Grail Cup

There are also some basic symbols, which are 9, 10, J, Q and K.

This game has eight bonus rounds: So it’s visually quite remarkable. We particularly love the intricate map of Camelot and the beautiful Lake of Legend. The animation is fun and original, and you’ll be entertained by the characters themselves while you play. The background music is mainly medieval themed, with some more modern sounds and alarms when they have hit on a win.

If you love this game, then, of course, you should try Avalon the original. If you’ve exhausted those two and you want more games which make the most of their bonus rounds, try the Great Thunderstruck 2 online slot which is also by Microgaming.

Technology

Microgaming came up with this slot game after the popularity of the original Avalon game: But many feel the 8 bonus games on offer here means that it exceeds the greatness of its original! One significant element of Avalon II is that it’s suitable for both mobile and tablet devices, saying you’ll be able to play on the go, from the small screen.

Jackpot

The jackpot on offer for this game is fixed, and there is no progressive jackpot available: But you can win as many as 2,430,000 coins if you’re lucky with the bonus rounds. The goal here is to gain entry to as many of the bonus rounds as possible, which allow for multipliers, free spins, expanding wilds and more.

When it comes to the base game, the highest payout is 2,000 coins. Nice, but hardly something to tell your friends about. The 2,430,000 coins are only possible through the bonus games.

Another reason why people keep coming back to Avalon II is that it has a higher than average percentage payout. In fact, it’s 98.5%! This means it’s pretty fun and simple to keep playing, without any high risk to what you’re wagering.

Special Features

The way the bonus rounds work is in order: Find the grail scatter symbols, and you will take a beautiful walk from the city of Camelot to the Lake of Legend. After rolling the dice, you will be able to make your chance at rescuing Sir Lancelot himself. Free spins are on offer once you’ve entered the bonus round. The eight bonus levels are called:

1. Lake of Legend – You have ten rolls of the dice to rebuild Excalibur and collect multipliers.
2. Misty Vale – Free spins bonus of fifteen games with an extra Wild
3. Whispering Woods – Pick from 5 shields for an instant win.
4. Forest Falls – 20 free spins with trailing wilds included/
5. Dusky Moors – A scratchcard feature with many multipliers up for grabs.
6. Morgan’s Keep – Twenty free spins, as well as rolling reels for consecutive wins which can multiply up to 6x!
7. Hall of Shadows – Five merciless battles against the Black Knight.
8. The Isle of Avalon – The wheel of fortune is finally yours. Spin to see if you will receive the highest reward for your bravery.

Conclusion

Lose yourself entirely in one of Microgaming’s most immersive slot games, in large part due to its astonishing eight bonus games. If you’re a fan of the 243 paylines type of slot, and you think you would do well in a medieval quest, this is not one to miss out on.
