Bonuses and Promotions
The Platinum Play welcome bonus: Comes in at a very handsome $1,000. It is conveniently spread, at the same rate, across five deposits:
- 1st deposit – 100% match bonus up to $200
- 2nd deposit –100% match bonus up to $200
- 3rd deposit – 100% match bonus up to $200
- 4th deposit – 100% match bonus up to $200
- 5th deposit – 100% match bonus up to $200
Wagering requirements: Keep in mind, in order to clear your welcome bonus, you will need to clear the 40X wagering requirement. Playthrough for doing so is extremely standard, with online casino games like slots and keno contributing 100%, table poker 20%, roulette and video poker 10%, and classic blackjack 2%. All parts of the bonus must be claimed within 7 days of your first deposit.
The quality of the welcome bonus: Overall, we really like the Platinum Play welcome bonus. It is extremely fair, and convenient to collect upon. As for playthrough, it’s well within industry norms, which rarely go below 40X these days for a welcome bonus.
As for other promotions at Platinum Play, there are a few basic types you’ll encounter.
- Weekly promotions – You’ll need to create an account and check your email regularly to gain access to these. Generally personalized in style, they include things like tournament invitations, free spins, and deposit match bonus offers.
- Monthly promotions – These are the big-ticket promotions, with the big ticket prizes and themes. Run at a rate of one per month (usually), they offer you the chance to win things like luxury vacations and your part of six-digit cash purses.
- Loyalty Rewards Programme – Collect your first 2500 loyalty points automatically with your first deposit, and keep growing from there. Once you’ve collected enough, you can convert your loyalty points to cash, with no wagering requirement.
- Tournaments – Live slot tournaments take place regularly at Platinum Play, and give you the chance to win extra cash as well as valuable prizes like iPhones, televisions, and cruise vacations. A full list of upcoming and ongoing tournaments can be found when you log into the site, navigate to ‘Games View’, and click on the ‘Tournaments’ tab.
Games
At 600+ online casino games and growing at a steady pace, Platinum Play is an excellent choice for wide-ranging entertainment. While the muted tones of the site itself – designed for elegance over “splash” – may have you thinking otherwise, don’t doubt for a second that Platinum Play truly delivers with one of the boldest game offerings out there.
Leading the way are the ~350 slot games, which include a nice selection of classic 3-reel games, as much as blockbuster video slots like Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones, and Tomb Raider slots.
